Spend a fun-filled day with NHM and Tree People staff at the San Francisquito Canyon near Castaic Lake as we help restore and BioBlitz this unique canyon. 

Learn about new museum initiatives and meet one of NHMLAC's newest Curators at the Fall 2019 Alliance Circle Luncheon.

Dr. Lori Bettison-Varga, NHMLAC President and Director, will share exciting details about the next phase of our family of museums. Then, Dr. Austin Hendy, Invertebrate Paleontology Curator, will give a talk on his research projects and vision for the third largest collection of arthropods, molluscs, echinoderms, and corals in the world. Following his presentation, Dr. Hendy will show some rare specimen from the collection, bringing an ancient world to life.
