Korinna is a wildlife biologist and science communicator. Throughout the years she has worked on a variety of wildlife projects that include charismatic species such as black bears, mountain lions, porcupines, river otters, and Roosevelt elk. Prior to working at NHMLAC, Korinna was advocating for mountain lions throughout the Western United States, working to mitigate and prevent human-wildlife conflicts through education, community outreach, and science-based policy. As a native Angeleno, she is thrilled for the opportunity to engage with the community and inspire people to re-imagine and discover urban wildlife.
