House of the Dragon: The Targaryen Dynasty VIP Reception

We invite you to a first look and celebration of NHM and HBO Max's House of the Dragon: The Targaryen Dynasty.

We invite you to preview a new, one-of-a-kind experience House of the Dragon: The Targaryen Dynasty (on view August 5-September 7), a 2,500-square foot mini exhibit celebrating the HBO original series and the creative power of storytelling! On August 3, join NHM scientists and David J. Peterson, High Valyrian linguist, as they discuss the mythical creatures and cultures featured in the series, the real life species and cultures that may have influenced their creation. Then, enter the experience and explore the mythical world of Westeros through original costumes and props from the show, sit on a replica of a new Iron Throne, and much more. 

The reception will be held predominantly outdoors at the Natural History Museum, located at 900 Exposition Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90007. Complimentary parking will be available. Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
