VIP Opening Reception

We invite you to a first look and celebration of NHM’s newest special exhibit, Brilliance: The Art and Science of Rare Jewels on Wednesday, December 8 from 7 - 9 pm at NHM.
Discover how gems and minerals are used in a wide variety of fields, from jewelry design to scientific research in geology, chemistry, physics, and other disciplines. Enter our Gem Vault and marvel at the brilliance of over one hundred spectacular objects—necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, and unmounted gems—drawn primarily from the works of master jewelry designer Robert Procop—that will be on display alongside minerals from the Museum’s collection.
The reception will be held predominantly outdoors. Complimentary parking is available in the NHM Car Park. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
