Waa'aka: The Bird Who Fell in Love With the Sun

When: Friday, November 20th at 11am

Join us for Storytime! Gather 'round with the little ones and join #NHMLA Gallery Interpreter Steven Mendoza for a reading of Waa'aka: The Bird Who Fell in Love With the Sun by Cindi Alvitre. This tale is a creation story from the Tongva, a group of people who have lived in Southern California for thousands of years.
